Kitchen of Hope Project was implemented as a livelihood development project carried out in partnership with KIZILAYKART Platform and Türk Kızılay Community-Based Migration Programmes, two important coordinatorships of Türk Kızılay’s (Turkish Red Crescent’s).

Within the scope of the Project, which started to be implemented as of May 2019, the incentive payments of the participants of the cookery course were made through KIZILAYKART. Turkish and Syrian nationals participated in the courses organized in Ankara and İstanbul. When selecting the participants, it was envisaged that 50% would be women and 50% would be men. Within the scope of the Project, participants received 1000 TL per month through KIZILAYKART and the Project, which was funded by the UN World Food Program (UN WFP), was completed in September 2019.
