KIZILAYKART PLATFORM

KIZILAYKART is a humanitarian assistance model that brings together the public and private sectors to provide regular cash assistance through the banking infrastructure to those in need who meet certain criteria.

The KIZILAYKART Platform was initially introduced in 2011 specifically for Turkish citizens. Its initial focus, starting in March 2011, was on providing emergency food assistance to individuals under Temporary Protection and International Protection in Türkiye. Over time, the platform evolved, introducing the In-Camp Food Assistance Programme in 2012 to address the fundamental needs of vulnerable groups. Subsequently, it transformed into a multifaceted platform hosting various programmes and projects across different themes. Since its inception, the KIZILAYKART Platform has successfully completed numerous programmes and projects.

The versatility of the KIZILAYKART Platform allows for the implementation of diverse projects with the aim of enhancing the resilience of those in need and fostering social cohesion. It provides the flexibility to define different wallets based on specific conditions and payment terms. Leveraging the operational capabilities and information management expertise of Türk Kızılay (Turkish Red Crescent), the platform facilitates the execution of projects catering to various target groups through collaborations with different international donors and stakeholders. Within the structure of the KIZILAYKART Platform, humanitarian assistance projects are executed to address basic needs, education, and vocational training.
